Fall Holgas

It has suddenly turned chilly here–bleh! While I love autumn I hate the long snowy Utah winters. And even though I’ve been trying to take it easy and I drank almost a gallon of orange juice yesterday I still feel like crap this morning. So I thought I’d post these pictures I took with my Holga back with the fall was bright and lovely to cheer myself up.

Woodworking class is tonight. I’m already running through my mental checklist: camera AND memory card–check!, the plans for E’s wood bulldozer–check!, extra glue for cutting boards–check!, a determined but patient attitude–check! (?)

Wish me luck. Project pictures tomorrow or Friday.

  1. With the post above and knowing that another photoblogger friend uses a Diana, I just realized that Holga is a kind of a camera that you use! (d'oh.) Beautiful. Absolutely gorgeous colors. Do you develop the photos via film or is this digital?

  2. Thanks, everyone!

Gwyn, I was just whining about the temperature dropping into the 50s; luckily there's no snow yet.

MN, I should have explained it better (or perhaps a little at all) 🙂 I use medium-format film in my Holga camera and then I take it to a camera shop and they develop the film for me and scan it onto a cd. Only 12 photos will fit on a roll of film and it costs about $14 to buy a roll of film and then have it developed and scanned so I don't shoot with my Holga that often. But I really enjoy it when I do.
