It Doesn’t Belong in a Rolodex!

Thanks to those who weighed in on the Great Business Card Debate of Aught-Nine. I still haven’t decided yet: I saw a few more options on Etsy and N’s cousin offered to use his mad design skillz to whip up something for me so we’ll see what happens.

Shopping for cards reminded me of this video N showed me a while ago. This guy is everything I hate about salesmen but he’s pretty entertaining.

(Hmm…it seems like the video is having some trouble. If you can’t get it to work, try this version. It’s worth it.)

All the Rage

This game is all the rage at our house right now. In Broken Picture Telephone, users alternate drawing pictures and writing descriptions of them. And you only have ten minutes.

I can’t draw to save my life, but I like looking at the stories and watching as they develop. N can draw quite decently and has been having a lot of fun playing the game. You can see his pictures here.

Oh, and happy St. Patrick’s day!

***Edited to add*** It seems like the game’s servers have been having trouble today. Try the site later if you’ve have trouble.

Better late than never…

It’s been a busy day today: we took N’s cousin to the airport this morning and then E and I went to my office’s holiday lunch today at Tucano’s, one of those all-you-can-eat Brazilan grill places…three hours later I’m still full. (Curse you, fried bananas and delicious cheesy bread!) And now E and I need to drive to the candy supply store to buy several pounds of chocolate so we can make peppermint bark.

I don’t really have anything especially noteworthy to share and so I’ll leave you with the surreal “Hamster on a Piano.”
